Stationary distribution in Kalatuwana
Youth for Democracy & Justice along with the well wishers gifted all the necessary school books, school bags, shoes and other amenities to All the students of Karadana North College of Kalatuwawa Village.
Event was held on 21st of December 2022 with the participation of Rathnapura district NGO coordinator, Grama Seva Officers, development officer, team members of the YFDJ and our donors who sponsored the gifts to the children.
The school was completely destroyed from the year 2017 landslide. Though there were classes till GCE Ordinary Level, due to the landslide almost all the students have enrolled to other schools which is aware from the village. However the Principal of the School and the panel of teachers are working towards the betterment of the children and the families who can not afford to travel far away for the childrens’ education.
Therefore with the request of Asanka who is the coordinator to Kalatuwawa village, @yfdj_srilanka arrange the gifts to all the children of the school.
